is the eponymous label of designer Andrea Roady.
From Elizabethan armor and Belle Époque bustles to 1930s Glamour and 20th century military costume, historical influences form the basis of Andrea's inspiration. Each of her pieces comes to life through the thrill of modernizing the anachronistic and updating the long-forgotten.
Hard and soft, old and new, feminine and masculine, whimsical and conventional: the essence of Andrea's work is the strange beauty that results from the fusion of the unexpected.
Andrea studied Fashion Design at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. She holds a degree in English and Comparative Literary Studies, which she considers a wonderful basis for her work, from Occidental College. Her subsequent stint in Law School primarily taught her that she'd rather be designing briefs than writing them.
Andrea is a designer and illustrator based in Los Angeles. She adores ridiculously tall, stompy boots; contemplating where she wants to travel next; and the inexplicable deliciousness of bacon.
